Homunculus Face Area: inverted or upright?
Correction concerning the face area of the somatosensory (and maybe also of motor) Homunculus. If you have a look into scientific books you will found pictures like the below one. This picture is from Kandel et al., Principles of Neural Science, Fourth Edition, 2000, McGrawHill.

But there are evidences from fMRI studies that the face area is not upright like in the above picture and in all pictures in scientific books about the brain. Instead, it seems that the face area is also represented inverted and not upright. For instance, klick Servos et al. link below.
